These days, who isn’t looking for extra income or a retirement nest egg? Most of us have knowledge and solutions worth sharing, so the lure of onine income is strong.

What I found were thousands of products selling “easy” Internet marketing methods that don’t work, leave out key details, or make everything hopelessly complex. My years of online teaching, program development, marketing, and technical experience didn’t protect me from wasting thousands of dollars.

Almost every “newbie” online has a similar story.

It’s easy for anybody to get overwhelmed and confused by conflicting SEO, keyword research, backlinking, and “next best thing” nonsense being published to make more money. I thought buying software and automation tools would make life easier. Most of that software never worked right or featured blackhat methods Google banned within months.

Your careful testing, intelligence, humor, honesty, and clear instructions were such a breath of fresh air to me. If there’s more than one way to do something, you say so. And if you’ve found a proven way, you provide the clear blueprint, step by step with some laughs in between.

I’m glad you didn’t confine your publishing to the marketing forums. Sure, you were a big hit, but now even more people can discover your simple breakthrough reports here.

This post is part of an ongoing journey into the internet marketing arena. About a year ago I thought about shifting gears in my life because I was restless and not satisfied with the consulting business I was engaged in. I then explored a multitude of businesses while sitting at airports waiting for planes not leaving on time. I wonder if anyone has calculated how much of our life is spent waiting on line…I’m digressing…anyway I stumbled upon the home based online business crowd an became intrigued that people could make a full time income from home. Well, I confess I actually fell for all the hyperbole put forth by the whole industry(?). Work in you pajamas and never leave home, who can resist that? I was hooked.

Needless to say, I embarked on a buying spree of informational products that lasted for many months and I am too embarassed to say how much I spent for what little I recieved. As a person who has spent thousands of dollars for traditonal university brick and mortar education and online university courses, I was totally flabbergasted by the convoluted “books & courses” I got for the money I paid. Trash and garbage would be a more appropriate description. The stuff stunk so bad that the office cleaners wouldn’t touch it.

I summarily dismissed the whole IM business/industry notion until I started reading the Warrior Forum just recently and discovered Oz. Oz’s writings have reinvigorated me and I am reevaluating entering the IM arena again. Oz looks at the larger picture in his writings all the while giving you practicle actionable steps to achieve your ends. He gives you a foundation that you can build on and the fundamentals he lays out will cause you broaden the breadth of your business.

My story is not unlike a lot of affiliate marketers. I’ve been at it now for over 3 years and have spend thousands of dollars on just about every program that’s come along in that time span. With the exception of a few (emphasis on few), those products have flat out failed to deliver on their said promises.

I guaranty you that my lack of success with those products is not due to a lack of effort on my part. I’m not one to spend my hard earned money on those digital products or any other product for that matter, only to leave them to collect the proverbial digital dust on my hard drive. I actually devoted a lot of time and effort on all those products and going through all the steps that the so called gurus said would lead to financial freedom.

Well, I’m happy to say that now I can actually see a little flicker of light at end of the long internet marketing tunnel. That little light began to shine when I started buying some of your reports. I can honestly say that I’ve learned more from your short reports than I learned from all those high price products combined.

I’m not giving up or should I say I refuse to give up because I’m convinced that online financial success is achievable so long as I have access to the right information. I think your reports definitely contain valuable information that if followed could lead to the elusive internet marketing success.
